ALROSA holders approve paying 8.79/share in divs for Jan–Jun
MOSCOW, Sep 30 (PRIME) -- The shareholders of Russian diamond mining company ALROSA have approved paying 8.79 rubles per share, or a total of 64.7 billion rubles, in dividends for January–June, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
The record date for the dividends is October 19.
ALROSA paid a total of 70.3 billion rubles in dividends for July–December 2020.
With 27% of total global and 95% of Russia’s diamond output, ALROSA is the world’s top diamond mining company. The Russian government has 33% in the company and the republic of Yakutia has 25% plus one share, while free float is 34%.
